Bible Verses About Jesus Doing The Will Of The Father

Today, we will discuss how Jesus did the will of the Father and what we can learn from this example. As Christians, we are called to do the will of God the Father. Jesus has shown us why we need to live according to the will of the Father.

We are all created by God and He is our Maker. Let us live according to God’s plan. By doing this we will be able to please God and God will carry out His plans through our lives. When Jesus was on earth He always said He came not to do His own will but to do the will of the Father.

While He was on earth, He served men and gave Himself up for the cross, according to the will of the Father for the salvation of all mankind. On the night before his death, when he was praying in the garden of Gethsemane, he said, “Not my will, but your will, Father, be done.”  From here we can learn one thing: Sometimes in our lives it may seem difficult to do God’s will but it is right for us to do God’s will.

Our flesh desires to act against God’s will. We need to remember that actions according to our will take us away from God. When we fail to do the will of the Father, we begin to walk in the way of sin. The Bible teaches us to justify ourselves by doing the will of the Father at every moment of our lives.

We must be as humble as Jesus was, then we can do the will of the Father. In any important work we do in life we will pray to the Father to find out what He has planned. He will guide us when we bow down to the Father in prayer and He will bring blessings into our lives.

Let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about Jesus doing the will of the Father.
